# Brax Gmail BridgeA private internal tool used by Brax Media to manage brand-deal email on behalf of represented YouTube creators.## What it doesBrax Media represents a roster of YouTube creators in their brand-partnership negotiations. Most creator email volume is sponsorship inquiries, deal-status updates, contract logistics, and ongoing campaign communication. Managing that volume across many creator inboxes is the core daily work of our agency. The Brax Gmail Bridge is the internal tool we use to do that work. With each creator's explicit permission, granted through Google's OAuth flow, the Bridge connects to that creator's Gmail account and lets our team:- Read inbound brand inquiries and surface them in a single morning briefing
- Draft replies for the creator's review (the Bridge can NEVER send mail; only drafts)
- Organize messages with labels for deal tracking
- Coordinate sponsor fulfillment timelines
- Set up Gmail filters to route incoming brand mail to the right place
## Who uses itThe Bridge is used only by authorized Brax Media operators. Currently:- Samer Brax, Founder, Brax Media
- Vijay Poriya, Deal operations
Creators do not use the Bridge directly; their participation is granting (and at any time, revoking) OAuth access. Brands and other counterparties never interact with the Bridge directly.## Permissions and safetyThe Bridge requests four Gmail OAuth scopes:- gmail.readonly , read messages and threads
- gmail.modify , apply labels, archive, mark read/unread
- gmail.compose , create drafts
- gmail.settings.basic , manage filters and forwarding
The Bridge does NOT request gmail.send. This is intentional: under no circumstances can the Bridge automatically send email on a creator's behalf. Every outbound message requires a human (the creator or an authorized Brax operator) to open the draft in Gmail and click Send manually.## How creators revoke accessA creator can revoke the Bridge's access at any time at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions , find "Brax Gmail Bridge" in the list and click Remove access. This is immediate and irreversible until the creator re-authorizes.## PrivacyThe Bridge's use of Google API data complies with Google's API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.Full privacy policy at the link below.## Contact[email protected]
